Burglary in your area of note


Crime and policing update for Irthlingborough Wards 

Incidents of note reported between Wednesday, 6 October and Tuesday, 12 October:

Burglary of a property in Lovell Court, Irthlingborough between 1pm and 5.30pm on Friday, 8 October – dog walker returned victim’s dog at 1pm. The victim returned home from work at 5pm and found her dog was not there. Victim found her dog near her address with its harness on shaking in a bush. No damage to property, no evidence of a break in.

Burglary of a property in Lodge Way, Irthlingborough between 5.45am and 6am on Thursday, 7 October – around 2 weeks ago the victim noticed purple chalk marks outside his property and two neighbour's property – the victim received a phone call from his wife at work to tell him that someone had been in the garage. On inspection several items were missing from the garage. Caught on a neighbour’s camera it showed a white male wearing dark trousers and a white Armani hoodie with a large Armani emblem on the front. The bottom of his face was covered. He entered the drive at 5.48am and left at 6am on the victim’s bike and with a bag on his back.
