Incident Long Buckby

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding an incident in Long Buckby

A dog walker has been walking through the church yard of ST LAWRENCE C of E CHURCH in LONG BUCKBY from the rear of the church yard after being through the fields situated at the back of the church.

The victim has been approached from behind and without warning and been assaulted.

The victim has then turned around to see a male, who has immediately turned and ran the way, it is believed in the direction he came from.

The victim has continued to walk the way they were going to get home and has nearly reached CHURCH STREET when the Victim has been approached again by the same male where the victim has challenged the male and shortly after this the male has ran off in an unknown direction.

Description

The suspect was a male of potentially dual heritage, the Victim is unable to define race, aged between 15-19 years potentially mid to late teens, and was of broad stature, potentially around

5ft 11” to 6ft. the Victim was unable to see what hair style the male had due to him having a hood up but believes he had dark hair and he was also wearing a black Covid mask.

When the Victim spoke to the male, he potentially had a slight accent, but had what they described as a normal voice, young sounding.

The male was wearing a bright red, nearly pink in colour hoodie, black trousers/bottoms, black shoes believed to be boots. The Victim had never met the person before and did not recognise him and said if the male was wearing different clothing it is unlikely, they would recognise him.
